It's not like anyone knows what happened, too. It's not like Akuki wanted to be a Weed, right? So... it'd be pretty unfair to just hate him over that.
[nevermind that zenith isn't necessarily the fair type to begin with]
Either way, I'm not going to let him make you feel bad for not wanting to give up on Akuki.
