Why...?

I keep getting hurt or the people around me keep getting hurt...

... Or it felt like people just couldn't stand being around me back home, or things would happen to them...

...Again, I don't want to say that's not a valid feeling, but - if you're cursed, I kind of feel like we're all cursed. This isn't an easy place to be, you know? And a lot of us came from places that were hard even before this. That's not because of anything you did wrong, and it's not your fault.

[tucking her head against his chest, sighing]

I know. I get that, it's just hard to make my brain stop thinking that, too. None of it's fair to anyone.

I think you're plenty fair to all of us, so... Don't beat yourself up over it, okay? Or - try not to, at least. I know that's way easier said than done.
