Exercises are only thirty minutes to an hour at most. That's still plenty of time to do other things with your day. What are you helping Daisy with?
[while he's asking her that he will also check her grip on her chakrams and show her the drills to practice; it's just a few sets of swings at a dummy while making sure she doesn't let her weapons fly out of her grasp, so it's easy to multitask]
[She's attentive, at least. It's very obvious that she's quick to pick up things like movements and grips and stuff like that, almost like she's kind of in her element.
But also:]
I'm helping her with a sunflower garden... I have to plant everything and then I need to keep it up. And sing to them every day. Everything here grows twice as fast if you sing to them, I guess... and Daisy's really nice, so it's not like I think she's lying. She's definitely telling the truth. And she'll let me try her sunbutter fudge when she's finished making it!
[she did mention what she typically does in a day back home, so he adjusts the routine accordingly when he sees what she can handle! he makes a lot of approving noises at her footwork.]
A sunflower garden! Wow. That's a lot of work. And I'm sure Daisy's right, she knows what she's talking about and she's always helping people out. I didn't think of singing to any of our plants... I've just been telling them that I love them.
Once you finish, though, you should ask her for her sunbutter fudge recipe.
I might get more for Clover, too. I guess—they're good protection for some things? So it probably wouldn't hurt to have them. And I can try, but I don't know how open she is to giving up her recipes.
[...]
How'd you figure this stuff out so fast? I thought you didn't know anything about it.
It's fine if she keeps her recipes to herself. I just thought it would be nice to make some for Aides since he likes sweets.
[picks up his spear that he'd been slowly whittling at and gives it a twirl in his hand]
And I didn't figure it out fast. I had to research it! Any S-Class would have been able to pick up a weapon and use it instantly; looking things up isn't that special. It took longer than it seems like too. I was practicing every night while I was asleep.
It's like...lucid dreaming? And when I'm asleep I have some skills that let me...pick things up faster, you could say. Blood Fiend said that sometimes people wander into each other's dreams here, so if it happens I can show you. It's kind of hard to explain while you're awake.
[he's not a therapist he doesn't know what PTSD is either]
Probably not. It's not something that can be fixed overnight, obviously. I know I'm being too optimistic about it. But having nightmares is, well—you already know. You don't get enough sleep, you wake up tired, and it creeps into your life in little annoying ways even when you're awake. So having a potential tool to deal with it sounds too useful not to try, to me.
But if someone falls into your nightmares and you don't want them there, just kick 'em out.
[hes only got support skills but he supports real good]
It requires a high level of trust or it's not as effective. I usually only use it on my brother. But it still has some effectiveness as long as you don't hate me, so it's worth a try?

Just don't make it so much that I can't help Daisy too, okay? I got a job from her, too. To try to help.

How... do you practice when you're asleep, though? It still feels fast for me.

[it's because she barely sleeps, even when she's sleeping with mafuyu]
no subject
I haven't either. Maybe we both just got lucky! I wonder if you could try to direct yourself intentionally towards someone's dream...
no subject
... Maybe. But if people could do that, they'd end up in my dreams, and no one wants to end up in my dreams.
no subject
No? What's wrong with your dreams? If they're full of fuzzy teddy bears I promise to keep it secret.

I have a lot of nightmares.
no subject
Wouldn't it be better if someone else stepped in, though? They could help pull you out of the nightmare.

[And she doesn't want Lethe to deal with her PTSD that just so happens to be shaped like her past life, not that she knows that it's PTSD]

[something something panicky, she just kinda handwaves]
To do anything about anything. I don't know if it'd be the same in that case.

[lyra these nightmares sound bad, u good...]
Do you sleep okay?

I feel like the answer is an obvious no.

Do. You want. Me. To try. Helping with that...?
