No, I don't know anything. So I'm sure it's not really my place to say. But...I do know a thing or two about having messy fights with siblings. And I saw a little of how you both interacted with each other and talked about each other. You're his sister. Even if you're mad at him, you still love each other.
If we all worked off of reason alone we'd be very different people. Besides, you've got to have a little faith in your brother. He knows things are complicated right now. He also knows you love each other. It doesn't mean things are perfect, but he seems like the kind of person who will stick it out when things get rocky.
[She sighs and reaches up to rub at her eyes because she's tired and her eyes are bothering her and definitely not because there are little tears hanging out or something—]
But he doesn't get to know what I do and I can't tell him and—
[she just wants some closure, she never gets closure]
[not getting to say what you need to say to your sibling tugs at his heartstrings in a very specific kind of way. she deserves to have that much closure.]
I have—an idea. I don't know if it's any good. We could give it a try anyways, if you want.
It's kind of a long shot, so don't get your hopes up too high. The first step is to write down everything you want to say to your brother. A letter isn't as good as saying it in person, but it's better than not saying it at all if you can't reach him.
[he steps back and starts pacing around as he talks]
After that, there are three things I can think of. Blossom has been able to send people home sporadically thanks to the first ritual. But I don't know if anyone has tried sending objects. I don't know if anyone has asked about it either. But...we could talk to Blossom to see if she could send the letter home. Since Nyx just left there might still be some link to your world, like a path that hasn't fully closed yet. There's no guarantee that it would reach him directly even if we got it that far. It's just a chance, unless Blossom has a way to make sure it ends up in his hands.
The second option is similar to the first, but we'd ask Red. He's able to get things from home. So for the right price he might be able to send things home too.
The last option is to find out if anyone here is from your world—anywhere in the world would be fine. And make a copy of the letter to give to each person. You'd have to trust them, obviously, and I don't know if that's something you would be comfortable with. But if they end up going home too at some point, then they could give him your letter.
I think at least one of them has a shot at succeeding. And if none of those attempts work then you're just right back where you started. So it doesn't hurt to try. You've got nothing to lose and plenty to gain.
We're both reincarnated... and we knew each other in our past lives. It's kind of depressing and you don't really need the details, but he was my doctor. The only one that ever really cared about a kid being stuck in the hospital.
We both died and got reincarnated as Sugar's kids. But—we never told each other. I didn't even know my doctor had died. I—everything I ever did was because I was trying to find him.
Charon saw a memory of Nyx's in the fountain... and then he saw one of my memories. He figured it out and I was able to guess because of how he reacted.
[oh no. he has mentally noted that and it is with him forever now. gives her another headpat and then stops himself]
Give me five things that would make it better. Excluding stabbing things with chakrams; we'll get to the basics for that today, if you're still up for it.
[it probably has to be reasonable things so like, sugar being alive and still here is out. nyx being here and them having officially made up is out.
it's probably telling that there is a really long pause. Something she needs to consider??? That's for her and not other people?????? it's why she defaults to other people even now]
I—don't know. Seeing Sonata happy...? I know she wants a tank for aquatic plants—
[honestly relatable so he can't throw stones about it]
Sonata did tell me about the tank, but that's not quite what I had in mind. Uhm, well, it's fine to think about it. Minuet couldn't think of five things right away either. It can be anything, so don't overthink it.
[are you just going around trying to make people think about themselves my guy]
... I think I'd probably like a telescope. Maybe. I like stars. A guide to stars, too... I knew all the constellations and everything back home, but...
I did kind of put Minuet on the spot. It's hard to think of something when you're suddenly asked. But, a telescope is a good one! Charting the stars here might even be pretty useful too. If you see any constellations that look like the ones back home, it might mean we aren't too far away.
Mama used to do it all the time with me and Nyx, and I just kept doing it as I got older.
[she hums, and then starts ticking things off on her fingers.]
I took dance lessons. I hung out with the rest of B-Komachi. I used to do karaoke with my friends. I liked shopping. I liked watching baseball. I liked wandering around Akihabara and Shibuya and Harajuku a lot, too. It's been a really long time since I've had time for any of that, though.

I—Did Charon tell you the situation, or...

Maybe. He has every reason to not.

Do you—do you really think something might work? I think everyone from my world is gone by now, but—
[She's only a little hopeful, she doesn't expect anything to be so lucky, but—]
It's not the same, but... it'd still be something...

If you want to tell me.

I wasn't expecting reincarnation. Somehow. ...How did you find out he was your doctor if he didn't tell you?

I'm sorry your first life didn't work out. Obviously this one hasn't been smooth sailing either. But I hope it's better.

[oh, headpats though. she loves headpats. she trails off and it looks like she actually enjoyed that.]
... It's not all that great. It's bad in entirely different ways.

I haven't seen anything that looks familiar yet, though. I'm not really sure how to chart them, either.

Did you stargaze a lot back home? Maybe it would've been easier to answer if I'd just asked what you do for fun back home...
